Vinyasa Beginners 

• 60 Minutes • 4 week course

Vinyasa yoga is a flowing practice, linking breath and movement in creative sequences which vary each week. Learn the fundamentals of this practice in our 4 week course created specifically for students new to yoga.  


What will I learn?

  • The fundamentals of a Vinyasa practice and a little bit about the history and philosophy of yoga.

  • Variations of Surya Namaskara (sun salutation) sequences.

  • Asana (posture) fundamentals, breaking down key poses.

  • How to use the breath to focus the mind while moving the body with awareness.

  • The stabilising internal muscular locks (bandhas) which help us to balance strength with flexibility in the body and to create stability in the body.

  • There will be many opportunities to ask questions and your experienced teacher will guide you through the practice, offering modifications to your individual needs, in an open and supportive environment.

  • Building on what you've learnt each week, once the course is completed you'll feel confident to continue your Vinyasa yoga practice in any class!

 

What is the cost?

$100 plus you will receive a free class to use anytime.

Courses are non-refundable under any circumstances. We are happy to credit or transfer courses on a case by case basis.
