Chloe started her yoga journey with Odette practicing mainly Ashtanga yoga. As Chloe's understanding of the practice developed and deepened she found that variety in her practice is what she craved. Now a dedicated Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin practitioner, Chloe has found a balanced and harmonious practice that delves from deep stillness into dynamic asana.

With a lifetime of movement in classical and contemporary dance, Chloe integrates her love of creative flow into her classes. Using her background in Behavioural Science, Chloe weaves an understanding of philosophy, mindfulness and wellbeing throughout her Vinyasa and Yin classes. In addition to Chloe's lengthy teacher training she has also undertaken Myofascial Release and Advanced Yin Yoga training and is a member of Yoga Australia. Chloe is a Level 2 Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner currently advancing her training and understanding to become an Essential Level Practitioner. Pierina started practising yoga at a stressful time in her life and with the encouragement of her daughters, Odette and Chloe, she took up a dedicated Ashtanga practice eight years ago at the age of 54. What she loved about the Mysore practice was the silence and moving to the rhythm of her breath, this is what ignited Pierina's passion for yoga. The transformation, bliss and happiness Pierina experienced from her Ashtanga/yoga practice inspired her to become a yoga teacher, hoping to share her love of yoga with others. Since then she has been to India multiple times, to practice with her teachers Sharath and Saraswathi Jois.

Pierina loves teaching and furthered her studies to specialise in Pre + Post natal, yoga for Active Birth and Yin. Recently she completed an Advanced Yin teacher training in Melbourne. Pierina is a member of Yoga Australia.

Captivated by the rhythm and flow of Vinyasa these are the classes Kylie loves to teach, including the dynamic Ashtanga method, creative Vinyasa flow (fast and slow), gentle yoga and beginner courses. Her classes welcome complete beginners to experienced yogis and include flowing asana, breath awareness, pranayama, meditation, weaving of asana mythology and inner inquiry. Kylie believes yoga is an entire system which connects us to the rhythm of the breath allowing us to feel more alive and more present in each moment. When teaching, her hope is to create a safe and warm environment for all to come together and practice. She has a committed daily Mysore and meditation practice and has travelled to practice with Sharath Jois, in Mysore, India as well as London and Copenhagen. In addition to Kylie’s initial teacher training, she has participated in specialised Pre Natal and Yin training and is a Level 2 member of Yoga Australia.

Gerard’s first experience of yoga was a beginner's Ashtanga course back in 2010. Following this experience he mainly practiced Vinyasa and introduced Ashtanga several times a week. Eventually Gerard made his way to a morning Mysore self practice.

Initially, Gerard was drawn to the physical side of yoga but it has now become something more. He loves teaching beginners courses, starting with students on their journey, which also serves as a reminder to him that there is no destination.

As a dedicated Ashtanga practitioner, he regularly travels to practice with his teacher, Sharath Jois in Mysore India, for months at a time. Gerard has received the blessing from Sharath Jois to teach Ashtanga Yoga and is an Authorised Level 1 Sharath Jois Yoga Centre teacher and practitioner. In addition to his initial teacher training he continues to learn, participating in specialised Yin training, regularly attending yoga workshops and he is a member of Yoga Australia.

Kate began practicing Astanga yoga in 2008 and fell in love with the practice! Coming from a very physically active background, with a Bachelor of Science with Sports Science and Nutrition, Kate was an outdoor personal trainer and also worked for a physiotherapy clinic in the rehabilitation of motor vehicle and work related accident patients. Initially, Kate's practice started as a physical form of exercise and transformed into something more, she then decided to take her practice to another level and completed teacher training. Kate has completed Yin Teacher Training, Pre and Post Natal and Active Birth and is a member of Yoga Australia.

Kate believes yoga isn’t about the physical practice itself. Sometimes, it is simply just lying down on your mat, tuning in to how you are feeling, and just letting your body be. Her teachers nurtured her yoga journey, encouraging her to overcome the mental boundaries she had set for herself. It is this way of teaching that Kate brings to her classes.

Michèle first learnt about yoga from a book she found in the library as a teen, but it wasn’t until she was studying at University and delving into Hinduism that she started a regular practice to help her manage her back injury and anxiety.

She loved the way yoga helped her manage her injury and anxiety and decided to follow her heart and complete her yoga teacher training. At the same time she was becoming interested in how food fuels our bodies. After teaching yoga for a while, she took the plunge and headed back to University to qualify as a nutritionist.

She’s practiced Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga, but has fallen in love with ISHTA yoga, a style that combines ancient Indian and contemporary sciences to cater for the individual student’s needs.

She is has over 1000 hours of training, including additional training in Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Therapy, Yin and ISHTA. She’s also a university educated nutritionist and holds a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition.

Kelly found yoga in 2008 through her masters degree in Exeter, UK. Kelly's MFA focussed on cultivating the mind-body connection through studying the Southeast Asian practices of yoga, t'ai chi and kalaripayattu.

Subsequently, Kelly earned her PhD in 2015, which further looked at psychophysical practices in an interdisciplinary study between sport-science and performance practice.

She completed her 350hr Hatha Vinyasa teacher training in 2019. Her research informs her yoga teaching and her classes incorporate a strong mix between psychophysical connection, strength, and fluidity.

Irene instantly fell in love with the Ashtanga method in her early twenties and has since maintained a Mysore and meditation practice infusing both on and off the mat. She believes that this lays the foundation of a healthy and balanced body and mind.

Within Irene’s yogic practices she is a designer, ceramicist, avid traveler, green thumb and beach lover - infusing yoga into her work as a designer. By teaching mindfulness techniques in her craft workshops such as Meditation with Clay she encourages people to open up, explore and connect within the design process.

Irene’s classes blend creativity and inter-personal connection focusing on breath and meditation. As an avid practitioner of Ashtanga yoga, Irene loves teaching the ashtanga method because of the softness that resides in the strong dynamic asana practice. Irene also loves teaching yin and gentle asana flow as a complementary practice which can be accessible to everyone including those with injury and at every age creating a nurturing and supportive space to inspire students to cultivate softness into their own practice and experiences.

Irene will always continue to learn and explore and is deeply dedicated to the study of yoga. She has made multiple pilgrimages to Mysore, India to practice with Sharath at KPJAYI, delving deeper into her practice of yoga, philosophy, sanskrit and chanting. Caroline started practising yoga during her university years. Starting with body balance at the local gym leading her journey into Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative and Ashtanga. Loving the physical benefits she also found it greatly helped manage anxiety and stress. After years of practice and exploring classes all over the world she decided to undertake yoga teacher training in 2015. She completed her 350 hour Hatha Vinyasa training over the next 2 years then continued to complete her Level II Yin yoga training.

She loves to teach and guide a range of classes but most enjoys creating a gentle nurturing practice incorporating Restorative, Yin and gentle fluid movement with a touch a meditation, connecting the body and the breath. She hopes to share with her students what yoga offers her, feeling balanced, restored, grounded and nourished.

 Caroline is a Level 1 registered yoga teacher with Yoga Australia, attends yoga workshops and seminars and though a teacher will forever be a student.

Kelly’s yoga journey started about 17 years ago when she delved into the Iyengar method. With the pressures of everyday life and a stressful job, she soon became aware of the benefits yoga offered to my mental and emotional well-being. She explored various yoga practices over the years but was drawn to Ashtanga which resulted in a trip to Mysore India, the home of Ashtanga. Whilst in India she attended silent meditation retreats and completed an Ayurvedic cooking course.

Returning to Perth she completed her yoga teacher training. Part of the course entailed teaching not for profit yoga classes where she introduce a yoga program at the MS Society of WA (MSWA).

Kelly specialises in pregnancy and postnatal yoga, supporting and empowering women through this special stage of their lives.She also thoroughly enjoy teaching toddlers and young children the benefits of yoga.

Today yoga is part of my everyday life. My practice gives me the opportunity to meet myself, in the moment, just as I am. The self-exploration, cultivation of patience, balance, kindness and compassion, has equipped me to practice being a better version of myself, as well as a better mother and wife. She is a registered Level 1 Yoga Australia Member with over 1,000hrs of training, and specialising in Pregnancy and Postnatal (incl. babies/ toddlers), Mindful Birth, Yin and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She is also a practitioner of Neuro Linguistics Programming (NLP), specialising in Milton Ericksonian Hypnosis language.

In her spare time she tends to her veggie patch, enjoys family walks in the park and getting sand between her toes at the beach. She’s also a passionate cook, artist, poet, felting and basket-weaving enthusiast.

Kate began practicing yoga in 2005 to manage anxiety and health issues due to work related stress. After experiencing a restored sense of wellbeing in a short space of time, yoga quickly became a dedicated practice in her daily life. After taking a trip to India to deepen her practice & study of yoga further, she was inspired to undertake her Hatha Vinyasa teacher training in 2010.

Committed to delving deeper into her practice, she has since undertaken further Vinyasa training with Shiva Rea and completed a Pregnancy and Active birth training whilst pregnant. Since the birth of her son in 2013, Kate has been inspired and called to teach gentle Hatha and nurturing Restorative yoga practices that have assisted her greatly during the transition to motherhood and help maintain a deep sense of balance and wellbeing in her daily life.

Erica was unknowingly introduced to yoga by a high school teacher who would regularly guide the class through a yoga nidra practice. It wasn’t until 2009 that she discovered the physical side of yoga when a friend asked her to join an Ashtanga beginners course. These days her practice is a combination of vinyasa, gentle Hatha and yin. 

Erica believes yoga has the power to give you what you need on any given day. As a teacher, she places an emphasis on breath and mindfulness, with a little bit of yogic philosophy sprinkled in. Her aim is always the same: that students walk away feeling calm, empowered and more balanced, in both body and mind. 

When she’s not on the mat, you can find her working to end youth homelessness in the local community or travelling with her husband and two little ones in tow.
