Unpacking Backbends

20 September 2pm - 4pm

In this workshop, we will explore strength, stability, progressions, mindful alignment and intelligent preparation. 

We will look at basic spinal mechanics, shoulder + hip mobility and glute + core activation. 

Backbends should be empowering so we will touch on the breath, feeling confident, safe and moving beyond fear. 

This workshop is suitable for yoga practitioners of all levels.
